🏐 Next open gym coming up — check the schedule
Anyone who wishes to play must sign up using the Google Form, and there is a $10 fee to play. Only players on the posted list will be allowed to participate. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please let us know — repeated no call, no shows will result in being automatically waitlisted.
This open gym is primarily intended for players who are 18 years of age or older. Players who are 15–17 years old may be permitted to participate provided that:
Organizers reserve the right to deny participation or remove any player whose skill level, behavior, or conduct is not appropriate for the session.
All players must check in with Jude Sanchez or Maggie Hernandez when they arrive, before joining any games.
Teams are not pre-assigned. Players may form teams with anyone present. If you need a team, please ask an organizer and we will help place you.
Games are played 6 vs 6 when possible. In some cases there may be teams of 5 or 7, depending on the number of players that attend.
If players would like to play together as a group, they must arrive on time. We will not stop or reorganize games in progress to rearrange teams for late arrivals.
Games will normally be played to 21 points, win by 2, with a hard cap at 25.
If no extra team is sitting out, games may be played to 25. In this case, teams may continue playing beyond the score until another game finishes and teams can rotate.
Teams will play using the 2-and-off rule, meaning a team may play a maximum of two games in a row before rotating off the court.
Teams waiting cannot force a team currently playing to sit out early in order to face them or the opposing team. If a team would like to play a different opponent, they may volunteer to give up one of their games and rotate off early — both teams must agree to the switch.
All players must show respect to teammates, opponents, and organizers. Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from play. Repeated offenses can result in bans.
Play safely and be mindful of others on and off the court. Any dangerous or reckless play may result in a warning or removal.
Final decisions on rotations, disputes, and rule enforcement will be made by Jude Sanchez or Maggie Hernandez.
